Purple Day Celebrations

Purple color is associated with royalty and Nobility. It portrays dedications and intellect. Purple color is also associated with wisdom and dignity.

On March 6th, Kindergarten students of Manchester International School, celebrated purple day and came dressed in their royal purple color attires. Color purple was introduced at every stage in the classroom through drawing of objects, craft activities, reading activities and many other engagements. Staff and students dressed in Purple looked commendable in their apparels and gave a feeling of aristocracy.

Students brought cutouts of objects seen in purple color and participated in painting activity based on the day’s theme. These objects were displayed and discussed in the class. They shared the objects with their friends and enjoyed the activity thoroughly. This activity inculcated the habit of sharing and caring. They also learnt about different purple colored objects that were brought by other classmates. In order to enhance the recognition of Purple color, our budding kindergartners performed activities which were specially planned by their teachers to make the day special. This day gave the tiny tots an opportunity to identify various items associated with the color and the entire experience strengthened their learning in an enjoyable manner.
